I am looking for people who have unique modeling techniques. You can share what you do here.
NOTE: I don't encourage using these techniques without practice especially my idea
Well for example I hold dental instruments over a very small fire(candle) and use them to melt parts of plastic models to create battle damage etc.
WARNING: This technique is not safe and you can burn your hands and/or house please warnings with your techniques to protect readers of this thread and to avoid being sued by people.

I used a similar technique for melta damage to walls and such, for instance I based one of my Dreadnoughts (the good old metal ones, none of those new plastic ones) with a wall made out of two Warmaster bases glued together then melted down one side with a blow-torch lighter and painted in a mix of Blood Red - Firey Orange and Burnished Gold to simulate glowing melted material. also paint on White Spirit onto shoulder-pads in multiple layers to make it colluoid in consistency and then score with a sharp point to make Tyranid Claw marks. An Alteration of that is that I set fire to the Spirit-soaked area, appart from the fact that you're very likely to destory the shoulder pad, if you don't you have an interesting bubbling effect, Plague Marines anyone?
