I made my own space marine chapter, the Green Fists,they basicly look like dark angels. I was wondering what is another word for green of something like that. Also I will post my army list here soon

What are the chapter traits? And from which chapter did they receive their gene seed?

corageous, trust your battle brothers and sometimes I give them the alien or the 6+ cover save one. They are a second founding chapter of the Imperial Fists

well why are they called green fists? maby somthing like, an army of the imperial fists got lost/abandoned on an ancient death jungle world after a battle with tyranids or somthing, and they slowly were eaten away by the enviroment, so they adapted to the terrain and learned the ways of the tyranids survival on that world thu preachings of their scout infiltraters, soon they were hardened jungle figters, druid space marines. they went on fighting small bits of tyr remnants as the late hive ships arrived every now and then, and soon they had enough resorce from their salvaging added with the power of the forces lirarians, to master the warp and begin spawning new space marines as mirror images of themselfs, many many years later they became a new chapter and called themselves the green handes, and are spread around that area, looking for more xenos to 'thank them' for all they've done....
dude I have too much time. And to think how much more time I spend doing things like this than I do with homework.

Okay I finisheded my full army list it is 2204 points in total: HQ Master 166; Master crafted Lighting claw, storm bolter, artificer armor, combat shield, frag grenades, terminator honors. Master of sanctity 156; artificer armor, master crafted Crozius Arcanum, frag grenades, terminator honors, storm bolter ELITES: Dreadnought 130; Assault cannon, storm bolter, extra armor. Techmarine 200; 2 tech servitors, 2 heavy bolter servitors, combat shield, full servo harness, terminator honors TROOPS: Tactical squad red 226: trust your battle brothers, flamer, missile launcher, sergeant with power fist. Tactical squad white 226: trust your battle brothers, flamer, missile launcher, sergeant with power fist. Special squad 230; trust your battle brothers, plasma gun, heavy bolter, sergeant with power sword and plasma pistol. Space mercenaries 221: trust your battle brothers, flamer, missile launcher, sergeant with power sword. Snake Scouts 124; 4 sniper rifles, 4 bolters
FAST ATTACK: Land speeder 65; multi-melta

sometimes I pat +51 points to give them preffered enemy against a alien race but I used that only on tyranids and sometimes I get the 6+ cover save. The Drawbacks I take are die standing, and I take eye to eye when I use the advantages above

I hope the army list is clear to you. Also I am thinking about special rules for my Snake scouts, they are basically scouts who use actuall stealth camouflage. I am thinking of something like the Tau stealthsuit that only works in cover and I am not sure how many points they should cost(the ones in my list are just normal scouts). I will try to get a digital camera and post some pictures of them here.

Do the landspeeders work for you. I never could get them to work in my advantage. They are FAST but when i use them it seems to be a waiste of points. Either they crash right before they do some good or i lose them early. Bikes always seem like a good replacement for hovery things (in my opinion)

Land speeders work sometimes and when they do they do a very good job. One example is when my land speeder took out a vindicator's cannon (making it useless) and in another battle in which it took out a defiler that didnt hide itself fully behing cover.

Land Speeders work best as a flanking force, zipping in and out of cover while peppering targets of oppertunity. They were never a real staying force, but should they take out something nasty, it's all good.

The base of my land speeder. poor ork, Also the only models in my army who don't have blood on them are the space mercenaries, Snake Scouts, and the 4 servitors (not the techmarine)

Recently I added warpaint to my marines, mostly blue with some black and different shade of green ones. I thought this would make them more tribal looking and give them some character.
